BOARDING

Boarding at Country Kennels is like sleep away camp for your dog while you are on vacation or just need a place for your dog to crash for a few days. Every boarding situation can be customized. We want this to feel like a home away from home for your dog. You can be confident that your dog is in the best hands possible. All dogs have a full time professional and certified trainer to look after them and keep them healthy and safe.

Our kennels are 10’x5’ enclosed in a temperature controlled building with heated floors. Each kennel has an elevated bed and plenty of fresh water available at all times. We feed on whatever schedule your dog is use to. We try to keep your dogs routine as close to your home routine as possible.

We only have 2 kennels so your dog will not be overwhelmed with a large number of other dogs. Everyone goes out individually and will not mingle with strange dogs unless its discussed between the owner and trainer. Trail walks can be individual or pack walks.

We have a new dog yard with great dog fencing so your friend can burn off some energy. We have some agility obstacles for dogs that have a high learning drive. Every dog will get as much yard time as the weather allows. Your dog will not be stuck in a kennel for 23 hours a day. Dogs go out first thing in the morning as the sun is coming up, as much as possible through the day and last thing before bedtime.

Transportation

We will pick up your dog from home and/or drop them off so you can just worry about your trip. Owners love it when their dog is home to greet them after time away. Let me make your planning easier.

Board and Train

For 7 days your dog will be in intense training to help with obedience and real life issues. Your dog will spend a few hours everyday working on becoming a good citizen. Each training plan is customized for your dog and your needs. Owners will be encouraged to stop in during the week so they can learn how to manage their dog when they go home. There are no secrets or things going on behind your back when it come to me working with your dog. I want you and your dog to succeed.

Coming up

We have finally started construction on a NEW building for Country Kennels! Our boutique kennel will have 4 horse stall sized rooms so your dog can get up and move around in a 10x12 foot space. Each kennel will have a dog door that exits to a private dog run that has a porch with a roof so they can even go out and be covered on a nice rainy summer day.

Our temperature controlled climate will keep your dog comfortable. Each kennel will have an elevated bed, fresh water access at all times and comforts of home. We will have enough indoor space that we will be able to do some training indoors when the weather is bad or let your dog really stretch their legs if they can’t go outside to the dog yard.

We will have a dog grooming station so your dog can get a bath and brush before they leave the farm. We would love to send your dog home feeling fresh and clean after some time at sleep away camp.
